Tides, by Pedro Xavier Solís Cuadra, is the first collection by the Nicaraguan poet to be published in English, translated from the Spanish by Suzanne Jill Levine. This will be a bilingual reading with JORGE LUIS CASTILLO, a critic of Latin American poetry and a prize-winning fiction writer, who teaches at UCSB.
